Nevena Ružić coordinates the Digital Guard programme at the Serbian Open Society Foundation.
She has for many years been a consultant for issues relating to personal data protection, data security and freedom of information and expression, both in Serbia and abroad. Since 2022 she has been a member of the pool of Council of Europe experts in the field of personal data protection. For more than 10 years she has been assistant to the General Secretary of the office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, tasked with ensuring practical compliance with regulations.She is the co-author of the educational video series A Cup of Privacy with Jelena and Nevena, available on YouTube and Vimeo.
